Gordon davies
senior engineer / producer
Gordon is an accomplished audio engineer with an extremely diverse set of skills, honed throughout his career at some of the best studios in New York City. He has produced, recorded, mixed and mastered music in almost every imaginable genre. His credits include Blues Traveler, Branford Marsalis, Gavin Rossdale, The Band, The Judy Chops, Lou Reed & The Blind Boys of Alabama, Rebekah Eden, Quincy Jones, and Blow Up Hollywood, to name a few. He has done live recordings & mixes for Fall Out Boy, Blue October, Three Days Grace, O.A.R., Tim Reynolds, The Hold Steady, The Steel Wheels, The Black Lips and De La Soul.
Gordon is the creator of the Real World Audio Workshop; a hands-on audio education program of his own design, and he serves as an adjunct professor for Bridgewater College. He is also the chief live sound reinforcement engineer at Clementine Café, one of the Shenandoah Valley’s premier live music venues, where he mixes local, regional and national touring acts.
A seasoned vocalist and percussionist, Gordon has spent nearly as much time on stage as in the studio. He brings his passion for music and sound to every project, session, gig or class he takes on, and is completely committed to helping his clients achieve the exact results they seek. When not in studio, Gordon likes to unplug by disappearing into the National Forest on his mountain bike.
